Keegan's First Band-Aid

E-mail Print PDF

We were bored this morning so I decided that it would be fun to bake cookies.  While we were searching through the cookbook, Keegan got a paper cut.  He kind of went crazy.  He was very upset and rightly so, paper cuts do indeed hurt and it even bled a little.  I thought that I would fix the problem with a band-aid.  He was very excited about the idea of a band-aid.  He stopped crying immediately.  Of course he didn't know what it was, but he likes a sticker so he was satisfied.  The band-aid didn't last long.  He just wanted to take it off.  I am sure just so that he could stick it to other things.  Anyway...just another first in Keegan's life.

On another note, we did make our cookies.  We decided upon sugar cookies that he could use his new cookie cutters on.  He did very well until the flour.  Most of the flour ended up on him and not in the cookies.  He also did an excellent job of cutting them out, frosting them, and giving them sprinkles.  However, I must say that his favorite part of the whole thing was eating the cookie.  He couldn't get enough.  He licked and licked the icing until ever single bit of it was off.  When he satisfied that is was all off, he ate the cookie.

Keegan Gets a Haircut

keegan haircut

Today Keegan had his first haircut.  We know there were several people that loved the messyness of his young swirling hair, but let me say it looks really really good now that it is a clean cut.  Man he is growing up fast!

HALLOWEEN 2009

E-mail Print PDF

Halloween 2009.  Keegan was a monkey and Isaiah wanted to participate this year by being a banana.  There was concern when we bought the banana suit for Isaiah that he would not cooperate.  However, he had very little problems wearing his.  Keegan was the culprit for taking off his costume!  After several days of practicing (he had to have a piece of toast in each hand to distract him) he finally left it well enough alone.

We went to four houses where he received a lot of laughs, but this year he enjoyed giving the candy to kids more than receiving his own.

There are more pictures in the gallery.

Happy Halloween!
